The CIPFA student conference will take place on Tuesday 27 June. Students can choose to attend just this one day (free of charge) or the full conference (for £95 +VAT). On the day of the student conference, students are invited to attend any of the plenary sessions from the main programme, in addition to the student conference sessions. Please note that the programme sessions, speakers and timings are subject to change.

Soaring inflation and rising interest rates have put enormous pressure on household budgets, while the Energy Price Guarantee has seen the government take unprecedented action to mitigate the worst impacts of rising energy costs on consumers. Our panel will consider the impact the rising cost of mortgages, food and fuel are having on ordinary families, the wider strains on public services and how all sectors of the economy can best respond.
