Hamant Bharadia is a CIPFA and CGMA qualified accountant as well as PRINCE 2 qualified with over 30 years of experience in local government finance and ERP systems. Hamant has over 30 years of experience in the LG sector and brings a deep understanding of the LG business landscape. He has worked with the London Borough of Lambeth as Assistant Director of Finance (Deputy S151 Officer) for over 8 years. Hamant is a CIPFA and CIMA-qualified accountant with strong business partnering, financial control, and systems skills. Hamant was the Senior Officer leading the Oracle Cloud transformation programme at Lambeth Council. Under his leadership and guidance, Lambeth became the first public sector organisation in Europe to successfully go-live with an end-to-end Oracle Cloud solution covering finance, procurement, planning & budgeting, HR, and payroll within 12 months. Hamant is a strong advocate for IT-based solutions, which have significant potential to  improve processes and outcomes for LG councils.
